NAHR participated in the European Humanitarian Forum, held in Brussels on May 19-20, with the attendance of numerous humanitarian leaders from around the world.
The forum’s sessions addressed the future of humanitarian action amid growing challenges, most notably declining funding and its impact on humanitarian response. Discussions also emphasized the importance of empowering local organizations and giving them a leading role in directing responses within their own countries.
NAHR’s participation reaffirms its commitment to supporting humanitarian and development efforts, as well as representing the priorities and needs of local communities in international forums.
