Aden Hosts NAHR Seminar on Empowering Women in Facing Climate Change

? In a step that enhances women's presence in environmental leadership...
The National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NAHR), with support from IHE-Delft, organized a training seminar in the city of Aden titled:
"Women and Climate Justice: From Awareness to Leadership," presented by Eng. Saba Omar Salem Bawazir, a specialist in electronic and electrical waste management.

? The seminar attracted wide participation from representatives of multiple sectors including health, education, and people of determination, alongside organizations working with displaced people, local initiatives, and entities concerned with environmental and development issues. This diversity provided a rich space for discussion that brought together community experiences and environmental challenges, highlighting the impact of climate change on daily life, especially on women.

? Through this activity, NAHR reaffirms its commitment to supporting environmental initiatives that enhance awareness and push society—especially women—towards a more effective role in protecting natural resources and enhancing adaptive capacity and resilience to climate changes.

?? Together... towards a conscious, sustainable society capable of facing future challenges.
