NAHR Concludes Emergency Food Aid Distribution in Several Governorates with Support from the World Food Programme (WFP)
The organization NAHR has concluded the distribution of emergency food aid for the December 2024 cycle, targeting thousands of families in several Yemeni governorates, with support from the World Food Programme (WFP).
In Amran Governorate, the distribution covered the districts of Maswar, Shaharah, Al-Sawad, Al-Sawda, and Hubur Dhulaymah, delivering aid to 20,070 families.
In Al-Jawf Governorate, the field teams targeted displaced persons and the most vulnerable groups in the districts of Rajuzah, Al-Marashi, Al-Hamidat, Al-Zahir, Al-Matma, Al-Maton, and Al-Maslub, distributing aid to 26,696 families.
The organization also completed the distribution of aid in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, targeting needy families in the districts of Al-Zuhrah, Al-Qanawis, Al-Zaydiyah, Al-Maghlaaf, and Al-Dahi, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 31,454 families.
This humanitarian effort is part of the partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), aimed at alleviating the suffering of affected families and enhancing food security in the most vulnerable areas.
